Board games in the saloon on board 'Odysseus'
Are gulet cruise holidays on ‘Odysseus’, our luxury gulet, suitable for families with children? Yes, we are indeed well prepared: ‘Odysseus’ is specially equipped and the crew is trained to help and be attentive to the needs of families. The equipment includes snorkelling sets, two kayaks – a single and a double, floating aids, fishing tackle, an ‘Optimist’ sailing trainer and a dinghy. Windsurfers are available by arrangement. On board we have many books and games, and for those keen to see sights, a number of stimulating land excursions are available.
Our chef and two stewards prepare and serve food and drinks for children to their requirements. The cabins include three double and two twins for ten passengers all with en suite bathrooms with cubicle showers. The twin cabins are very suitable for children.
Swimming in the Turkish Riviera - which our guests can do from the boat when moored in specific locations - is delightful as the sea is clean and crystal clear. Our crew can swim and dive and are trained in safety with recovery by ‘man over board’ procedures. Being British-flagged and managed, ‘Odysseus’ has a full range of safety equipment meeting international standards and a comprehensive medicine cabinet.
‘The most wonderful personalised service from a very professional crew who almost knew before we knew ourselves what it was we wanted!’, Veronica Veenbaas, UK
